To be able to get to your destination unseen and slip out quietly and unnoticed when you arrive means that it\u2019s almost impossible for anybody to track your movements.\r\n\r\nHiding your aircraft on an offshore registry, placing your aircraft in trust or blocking the aircraft registration from online flight tracking makes it harder to identify who owns the aircraft and to trace where it\u2019s travelled to. But once it arrives at its destination, the aircraft is in plain sight for everybody to see.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThis is why the vast majority of\u00a0\u00a0business jet colour scheme can be described as boring at best (after all, if you can\u2019t identify who owns an aircraft, there\u2019s little hope of knowing who\u2019s likely to be on board). But some companies and individuals like to buck this trend. They like to stand out from the crowd and let you know exactly who they are, so below we\u2019ll take a look at some of the more colourful business jets around.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n1. Nike\u2019s sneaker-inspired Gulfstream G550<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G550-N1972N.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57277\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G550-N1972N.jpg\" alt=\"Gulfstream G550 N1972N\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nAt the top of any list \u2013 and worthy of a special mention \u2013 has to be the Nike flight department, who manage aircraft on behalf of co-owner Phil Knight, as well as Nike themselves. Nike\u2019s most recent acquisition was a Gulfstream G550 (msn 5121), which was purchased from The Prem Rawat Foundation earlier in 2013. Gulfstream at Long Beach completed the very distinctive paint job, customising the aircraft with a Nike \u2018swoosh\u2019 on the tail and the soles of training shoes painted underneath the wings. But the personalisation doesn\u2019t end there, as the tail number (N1972N) contains the year that Nike was first incorporated.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n2. The feathered Gulfstream G650 owned by Nike\u2019s Phil Knight<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G650-N1KE.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57278\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G650-N1KE.jpg\" alt=\"Nike's Gulfstream G650 (Photo: Russell Hill).\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nNike\u2019s earlier acquisition this year was a brand new Gulfstream 650, although the Nike flight department operate this on behalf of co-owner Phil Knight. This distinctive scheme is different on either side of the aircraft, with one side showing a pictorial representation of Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory, and the opposite side being a stylisation of the Oregon Ducks college football team\u2019s helmet. The undersides of the wings have been painted with feathers, and each of the wingtips is painted with the signature Nike \u2018swoosh\u2019, but the ultimate customisation has to be the tail number: N1KE.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n3. Prada\u2019s jet black Gulfstream G450<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G450-I-XPRA.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57275\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G450-I-XPRA.jpg\" alt=\"Prada's Gulfstream G450 at Farnborough Airport (Photo: Antony Pratt).\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nPrada are synonymous with the colour black, so it came as no surprise when a Gulfstream 450<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0 <\/span>business jet (msn 4279 \/ I-XPRA) was delivered to the company in a gorgeous overall matt black scheme. My personal favourite of all of the schemes here stands out wherever the aircraft flies.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n4. Lime-green Citation Mustang<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Citation-Mustang-D-IEEN.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57271\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Citation-Mustang-D-IEEN.jpg\" alt=\"Citation Mustang D-IEEN\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nAnother aircraft painted the same colour all over is this Cessna Citation Mustang\u00a0(msn 510-0262 \/ D-IEEN), although the aircraft now been sold in France as F-HPHD and repainted. Is this a great scheme? Hard to say, but it certainly stood out.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n5. Silver and yellow Gulfstream G550<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G550-I-ADVD.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57276\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Gulfstream-G550-I-ADVD.jpg\" alt=\"Gulfstream G550 I-ADVD\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nWith Italy known for fashion and style it shouldn\u2019t come as much of a surprise to see another Italian registered aircraft making the list. Sirio SpA took delivery of a Gulfstream 550\u00a0(msn 5314 \/ I-ADVD) during the summer of 2011 and its distinctive overall silver colour stylishly matched with yellow and black stripes has been brightening up airports in Europe and the rest of the world ever since.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n6. Lewis Hamilton\u2019s Challenger 605<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Challenger-605-G-LCDH.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Challenger-605-G-LCDH.jpg\" alt=\"Challenger 605 G-LCDH\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nOne person that clearly doesn\u2019t mind standing out from the rest is Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton, who took delivery of a Bombardier Challenger 605\u00a0\u00a0(msn 5904 \/\u00a0G-LCDH) business jet in January 2013. With its overall red and black colours the aircraft also carries a personalised tail number, with G-LCDH representing Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n7. Brazillian Falcon 7X<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Falcon-7X-PP-RFA.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57272\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Falcon-7X-PP-RFA.jpg\" alt=\"Falcon 7X PP-RFA\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nThe first of two Brazilian-registered aircraft to make the list is a Dassault Falcon 7X\u00a0(msn 162 \/ PP-RFA). Delivered to the Bank of America in August 2012 and leased to a Brazilian holding company early in 2013, this Falcon 7X wears a stylish mix of black, silver and red that makes it stand out from the usual white schemes with pinstripes.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n8. Oakley\u2019s military-inspired Global Express<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Global-Express-N2T.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57273\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Global-Express-N2T.jpg\" alt=\"Global Express N2T\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nOakley\u2019s Bombardier Global Express (msn 9162 \/ N2T) takes the theme of blending into the background one step further, by adding what on first glance seems to be an overall camouflage scheme. Look closer though and you\u2019ll see it\u2019s a pictorial representation of a map, albeit with continents moved around to fit the aircraft.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n9. Brazilian Challenger 300<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Challenger-300-PR-ADB.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57269\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Challenger-300-PR-ADB.jpg\" alt=\"A Brazilian-registered Challenger 300 (Photo: J.P. Gosselin).\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nCaptured departing Montreal on its delivery flight, this Challenger 300\u00a0takes the theme of using black, red and silver together in a scheme, but swaps the usual order by using silver as the predominant colour. The addition of the red and black flashes make this Challenger 300 really stand out.\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n10. A very bold-looking Global Express<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Global-Express-N797KK.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57274\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporatejetinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Global-Express-N797KK.jpg\" alt=\"Global Express N797KK\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nThe Kohler Company, based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, is best known for manufacturing plumbing products, but in business aviation it is known for operating a Bombardier Global Express (XRS msn 9290 \/ N797KK) in a gorgeous scheme that stylishly mixes red, black and silver and includes the company strap line \u2018The Bold Look\u2019 painted on the tail.
